Have you ever found yourself knee-deep in a sea of half-used paint cans, desperately searching for that elusive shade that you could swear you saved, fear not! To save my sanity, I spent some time going through my "Homey" supply closet and in particular organizing the cans of paint, putting the left over paint in an airtight storage container and ensuring all remaining paint was cross referenced to its barcode for easy reordering at my local paint store. Note the pic on the right in the before, below...do your paint lids also look like this?
BEFORE
I went through every can of paint. Most of the paint could be properly disposed of. I can paint cans back from rooms that have already had a color change! What was left, I moved to airtight containers and labeled each lid. In addition, the picture to the right (AFTER, right) is a cross reference of each remaining paint's lid. This provides a quick easy grab, with barcode included for an easy reorder! Who says organizing your paint supplies has to be a dull affair? Embrace the chaos with these paint storage hacks incorporating the organization now into your DIY escapades. Whether you're unleashing your inner artist or just trying to find that perfect shade of beige, these tips will have organized for your next project. Happy painting, and may your storage solutions be as vibrant as your creations!
